In her richly illustrated lecture presentation, Battista Sforza and the Court of Urbino, Deborah R. Warin, Company Director, spoke to a sold out audience about the Renaissance princess whose image, immortalized by Piero Della Francesca, has become iconic while her fascinating personal story and significant political and cultural influence has been largely forgotten. In her lecture, Deborah helped her listeners sort through the evidence gathered in her scholarly research in preparation for a first English biography of this memorable woman, uncovering a pattern that helps us understand why so accomplished an individual could so quietly recede from history's spotlight.
