Christian Formation
The 2012-2013 Christian Formation Schedule is now posted
on the Cathedral website here!

Christian Formation classes will start the Sunday following Rally Day, September 16.  Sunday School will be in session from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
The Children's Chapel Crucifer will lead the children and teachers from the church before the procession begins.

Pre-Kindergarten-Ages 2 to Pre-K will meet in the back nursery in the undercroft, downstairs below the Chapel. For children who will not be in the Christian Formation class, Deidre and Joe Williamson will be in the Nursery from before Church until after Sunday School dismisses.

Grammar School Class-Grades K, 1, 2 will meet upstairs in the large central room.
FUN Club Class-Grades 3, 4, 5 will meet upstairs in the second room on the left.

Middle School and Confirmation-Grades 6, 7, 8 will meet upstairs in the first room on the left, the room with the big round window.

High School-Upstairs in the Brantley House.

The curriculum plan for Sunday School for children from nursery through grade 5 will be a stimulating enrichment to the Bible story and worship that our children experience in Children's Chapel. Each class will follow an age appropriate curriculum. Our middle school group will gather with the confirmation class. For confirmation this year we will use a new curriculum, I will, with God's help. The high school class will use The Episcopal Handbook as an aid to discussion. We will publish the Christian Education calendar monthly, or you may look for it on our website.

Thanks to our teachers, those returning and those who are new: Skip Archer, Susan Clinton, Mary Cook, Thad Hendrix, Carolyn Jeffers, Mary Carol Ladd, Alison Mitchell, Lucy Moore, Katy Patton, and Barry Weeks. We could use more help, if you would like to join a team.  Sign up here!

Confirmation
Mark your calendars. Confirmation has been scheduled for Sunday, April 21, 2013 in conjunction with the Cathedral Anniversary Celebration. Bishop Duncan and his wife Kathy will be here to celebrate with us. If you are interested in being confirmed, or if you have a child who would like to be confirmed, please call the Cathedral office to let us know to include you in the planning process. The youth class will meet at Christian Formation time. Confirmation preparation for adults will take place early in the spring at a time and place to be announced.

You may complete the forms here and leave them in the basket beside the
forms, or you may mail in the completed form. Please take forms for
anyone who needs one. To have your information updated, the form must
