Sponsor: Collaborative Research Partnership to Transform School Health, an NIH-funded partnership between Seattle Schools and the University of Washington to:

  • Provide school policy makers with useful health data
  • Provide school policy makers with evidence of which school health programs and initiatives are most effective
  • Raise the understanding of the role of health as a factor in academic success
  • Attract further resources for effective initiatives to promote student health 

Meeting Purpose: To share preliminary findings from explorations of existing data on attendance, academic performance and five health focus areas and garner recommendations from a broad group of stakeholders.
