February News 2011

Well... I'm back and my time off was great! I accomplished a lot... but not nearly enough... I still have a huge pile of UFOs! With so many snow days it was hard get any sewing done... you have to make sure the kids are settled and entertaining themselves.... in between lunches and snacks.... and then of course you have to make sure the husband is settled and entertaining himself... this is sometimes hard as we all know... get him off the sofa and outside busy doing some snow stuff! (said like a true Southerner... who does absolutely no outside snow stuff!) I yii yii... I'm taking a different month off next time!

February of course is the month of Love and nothing says "I love you" like a quilt. Check out the monthly special... and find what it's all about!

I will be at Candlelite Quilts for quilt drop off/pick up on a Thursday this month. If you can't make it, give me a call and we can make other arrangements. Can't wait to see everyone and see what your been busy with!

I don't know about you... but my count down is now on for Spring!

UFO Update

Sandy, Doris and I went to the Concord Museum in NH. The exhibit was just wonderful and the company too. We stopped in Milford to have lunch and celebrated Doris's Birth Day! A quick stop at the Bunkhouse for a quick shop and put the finishing touches on an awesome day! I also got together with Kathy in her studio and practiced some custom techniques... another great day! Didn't make it to Vermont or my other "Day Trippin" plans... had some family stuff going on... oh well... I'll just have to make some more "Me Time"! Here are just a few UFO's and stuff I worked on...
