Ok... my quilting resolution last year was to finish some UFO's and to create more "Me Time"! As you can see the UFO's along with the extra weight I promised myself to loose... well fell by the wayside.
I did spend Thanksgiving weekend sewing on my DSM and had such an awesome time... I finished 13 setting blocks for the BOM at Bunkhouse and laid it out... so pretty... can't wait to finish it! I also worked on several quilts I have in the making... and got on my loom. Just so much fun... I decided to take January off for some "Me Time"!
UFO's on Parade!!
   Yes the whole month of January! And with some well deserved time off... I'm going to get my UFO's under control! (I'll work on the weight next year!) I have about eight quilt tops of my own that need to be quilted and I'm going to load em! I hope to make a Friday open sew at Candlelite... I always have such an fun time at the shop! Lots of laughs and Cathy always has chocolate! I also plan to visit a couple of quilt exhibits... one with my Guild Buddy, Sandy, a fun day trip up to Concord, New Hampshire! Ok... are you jealous yet... A trip to Vermont to weave with Mary and shop fiber and of course some time with Wanda at the Bunkhouse. A play date on my machine with Cathy of Dream Stitches Quilting to learn new techniques and my month will be well spent!

If would like to lend a hand we can certainly put you to work and there is plenty to be done. We need volunteers to assist with quilt show set up and breakdown, white glove assistants, door assistants, teacher's angel... even a fashion show model!
