March News 2010

Greetings!
Well, it's been a difficult month, all the snow, slush and mud! Warm one day and then snowing the next, your typical, and unpredictable, New England weather! If you're in the New Hampshire area, I hope all is well and you have power. If not, I hope you're warm and cozy under a snuggly quilt! Just remember spring is coming!
Some new pantographs and threads are are in and don't forget the March Special, as you can see March is all about the green!
They say it's the "luck of the Irish"... Well check out the "Quilter of the Month" and see just who has the luck!
Hope to see you soon,
Quilting one day at a time...

SCQG Workshop
I attended Deb Tuckers Shadowed Star workshop hosted by SCQG. What an amazing teacher, and what a wonderful time. It was a fun afternoon! I have to admit I now have another UFO to add to the pile but I'm working on them, one day at a time!
Yeah! The count down is on! MQX is just around the corner April 15 - 17, 2010. I'm so excited and looking forward to spending time with fellow quilters, learning new techniques and shopping!
Treat yourself, chocolate, shopping, you know the important things! Not that you need to be reminded to shop, just reminded you deserve it!
Don't forget the Stash Bag Sale at Candlelite Quilts coming up in April. Plan ahead, it's a great opportunity to pick up a quilt back for your next project! Check the website for details and class schedules. Cathy and her crew are always planning amazing, challenging and most of all fun classes! A great way to make new friends and mingle with your old ones!

Inspire, create and enjoy!
Take time to organize your sewing area. Go through your fabric stash and re-organize. Put your fabrics together in color vignettes so you can see them.
Organize your threads, bobbins and tools.
Clean and oil your machine.
Wipe down, dust off and spruce up your sewing area.
Surround yourself with the things you love.
When my studio is clean and everything is in it's place...
I'm more inspired to create and sew! | |
