The study tour is designed for international policy makers, agency representatives and educational practitioners internationally with responsibility for, or an interest in, apprenticeship policy and practice, 'Good Apprenticeship Policy and Practice' aims to provide a detailed introduction to the UK apprenticeship programmes and network with leading UK and international experts in the field of apprenticeships.

For Me WorldSkills Was...

The WorldSkills Competitions which were hosted at ExCel London finished on Sunday 9th October.  This year London hosted the largest skills competition in its history with over 1,000 competitors from 51 member countries and 200,000 visitors. Young students who were at WorldSkills with British Council tell the story of their unique experience. Click here to read.
 

 How to design curricula that reflect industry requirements?



This challenge brought together over 190 Technical and Vocational Education (TVET) policy makers, researchers and practitioners from both China and the UK at the UK TVET Policy Dialogue event 'From occupational standards to curricula' in Guangzhou on the 5th September 2011.
