Well vintage is over for me for another year, no more early starts, no more grapes to eat and no more sneaking up on the pickers!

Finally we have cooler weather, much more to my liking. Have had loads of visitors of late, some great kids visiting. But they do seem to think I have endless energy. Always good to get a nap in between guests.

The rain has finally started - I'm not really into getting wet, so have put in a request for a raincoat. Hopefully if you visit on a wet day you'll get to see me wearing it!

Our Excellent Workers - Amber. Mariah and Clovis
  Well all the picking is done for another year. The whites are almost finished, just some fine tuning. The reds are in barrel. It has been an excellent season, and we are expecting some great wines as a result.

We had our usual crew helping us out with the picking, Steve, Bruce, and Carol, and a few additions. A couple of young girls from Taiwan, and our excellent Cellar Hand - Mariah. 

The 2011 Moscato has sold out, and has been in much demand. Don't panic we have made a fantastic 2012, and it should be ready for release in early August.

The vines are starting to put on their autumn colours, and the first real rains mean the weeds are poking up. Won't be long and we'll be in the midst of winter and pruning again.

2010 NEBBIOLO
The much awaited Nebbiolo is now available.  A wonderful bright brick red colour, with aromas of rose petals and cherries to assail the nose, followed by a  warm palate of rich savoury tannins.

Drinking well.
