| FOCUS Job Fair |
FOCUS Community Development Corporation is hosting a Student Job Fair on Wednesday February 22, 2012 at The Gibson Centre 63 Tupper Street West, Alliston from 3:30pm-5:30pm. We are looking for employers to attend that are currently hiring students or will be hiring students for the summer. We will be advertising the Job Fair in several newspapers, flyers, twitter, facebook, schools etc. We are expecting a good turn out for the event. Last year we had 365 students attend.
This event gives employers an opportunity to:
- Promote their organization to future employees
- Meet their recruiting needs
- Provide career information
- Reduce their time, effort and recruitment costs by meeting candidates face to face on the same day in one location
- Organizations must have opportunities available within five months of attending the Job Fair
This is at no cost to you, please let me know if you are interested in participating in this community event. Please complete the attached registration form or email to Lisa Griffin lisag@focuscdc.on.ca. |

| Canadian Chamber of Commerce |
We (the CCC) released our Economic Outlook for 2012. In our report, we observe that while many of Canada's economic advantages remain intact, ample headwinds will constrain growth in the year ahead. Fortunately, business investment remains a bright spot in both 2012 and 2013.
