Rent Shop "Movember Challenge"

On November 1st Rentshop employees will be participating in our first annual 'Movember Challenge' raising money for prostate cancer initiatives. "Movember (the month formerly known as November) is a moustache growing charity event held during November each year that raises funds and awareness for men's health."  We will be accepting sponsorships on-line and at our rental desk every day in November; and every Mo'nday in Movember Rentshop will be donating a portion of our daily sales to the cause. 100% of the proceeds raised will go towards our Movember campaign.  Follow our Twitter feed and Facebook page for campaign updates. This is also where we will be notifying customers of our special weekly 'Mo Community' days. On 'Mo Community' days, which will occur randomly throughout the month, Rentshop will acknowledge your sponsorship by either matching in-store donations of any amount, or

will be offering swag and rental discounts for those customers who make a donation of $20.00 or more.  At the end of the campaign all in-store sponsorships will be donated in the name of the Rentshop employee who is determined to have grown the best Mo, as voted by YOU on

our Facebook page. The contest begins clean shaven on November 1.To find out more about this global charity event and how your sponsorship will be used to fund prostate cancer initiatives, please visit the official Movember Canada website http://ca.movember.com/ Remember, any donation amount is celebrated! Help Our Garden & Youth Grow!

Dear Community Organizations and Members,

A big "THANK YOU!" to everyone who helped The Blue Frog, our youth volunteer led café, get through to Round Two of the Aviva Community Fund Competition!  But now we need YOUR HELP more than ever to make our dream a reality!  With YOUR VOTE you can help us create a FRESH FOOD GARDEN where young people will come together to plant, grow, and harvest vegetables and herbs that are not available locally. The bounty of the garden will then be used at The Blue Frog to prepare fresh, nutritious, and inexpensive menu items with any surplus produce donated to local community initiatives.  Here is how you can help:  PLEASE VOTE EVERY DAY for our idea at: http://www.avivacommunityfund.org/ideas/acf11324

(Quick Tip: We found the easiest way to vote is to use your Facebook Account to register!)  SHARE THIS EMAIL with your professional networks, friends, and family  (Quick Tip: This is a national competition - so even your Aunt Maggie from Nova Scotia can vote for this idea!)  POST THE ABOVE LINK ON YOUR FACEBOOK PAGE - this way we can reach as many people as possible!  THANK YOU FOR HELPING OUR GARDEN & YOUTH GROW!
