We need your help!
Several
days ago Heartland Weimaraner Rescue took in a litter of 10-12 week old puppies who
had been surrendered to the Oklahoma City Animal Shelter infected with
Parvo. Seven little puppies fighting for lives suddenly found
themselves at the mercy of strangers. Unfortunately two of the little
guys were so sick they could not be saved and to end their suffering
were euthanized at the shelter.
The remaining five puppies were
taken by Heartland Weimaraner Rescue to Gentle Care Animal Hospital in Edmond and
again tragedy struck, two more died of their illness. Now the three
remaining puppies are fighting for their lives.
The cost of Parvo treatment for one puppy is very expensive and something most
people cannot afford. For a rescue group caring for a litter it is even
more of a blow. The Bella Foundation is asking for your help to raise
money to cover the costs associated with the treatment of these little
guys. Please click on the link below and make a donation through our
secured site. Donations made are tax deductible and will help Heartland
Weimaraner Rescue continue to save the lives of more animals.
