Thrifty introduces a new savings program that will help you save on pure HD-5 propane today while you put aside propane for tomorrow with the "Thrifty Propane Savings Account." This savings plan is only possible because of our transparent pricing that lets you see what you pay for and why you are paying a particular price per gallon. As you know, the larger your purchase, the lower your per-gallon price. To enjoy the savings of a larger purchase, even if your propane needs are smaller, we now offer the ability to purchase enough propane to put you in the larger purchase category to reduce your per-gallon price.

We will be introducing this savings program first to our 500 gallon and 1000 gallon tank users on a test basis. A 500 gallon tank that is at 15% will top off with 350 gallons. If you own a 500 gallon tank and purchase 366 gallons, you will save 10 cents per gallon, and we will hold any propane that does fit in your tank. When you need propane again, we will deliver this propane to you, with any additional propane you purchase to make your fill. By going "366" throughout the season, you will always on the per gallon rate on the daily rate and always have propane to spare on account. An owner of a 1000 gallon tank will enjoy the same benefits by purchasing 731 gallons today, which will put the propane purchase at a lower rate yet.
