Home Ownership Preservation Efforts
Foreclosure      Bad things happen to good people, and the result is that many people are facing the possibility of foreclosure. The Partnership, in collaboration with Money Management Inter-national and Legal Services of Northwest Jersey, is holding free pre-foreclosure workshops, "Keeping the Dream of Home Ownership Alive," each quarter in 2010. Sponsorship is provided by Hudson City Savings Bank.
The seminars provide home owners with information about the foreclosure process, foreclosure prevention options and how to avoid rescue scams. According to participants, the workshop "gave me a clear understanding of foreclosure procedures, steps and time lines." Another indicated that the presenters "educated me on the process and provided me with options." The next workshop  is scheduled for April 22 at the Sparta Presbyterian Church. To register call 973-659-9222 or email
contact@hpnj.us.
