DNE School of Dance offers a dance class for everyone!  From beginner to

pre-professional, we are proud to offer so many different levels and classes.  

We are a non-competitive dance school which sets us apart...we believe 

that dance is truly an art.   

In May of 2012, our dancers will perform the culmination of their progress over the season with wonderful choreography, music, lighting and more...

This class is designed for the parent and toddler to take together.  We begin with  simple stretches, basic ballet foot positions with music, circle work & basic tumbling with obstacle courses.  The children experience working as a group and receive individual attention from the teacher as well.  We end the session with more simple stretches.

This class expands the students' classical Ballet technique & terminology with a 30-minute Ballet session.  We follow this by a 30-minute Tap session which focuses on making tap rhythms and terminology enjoyable and understandable.   The class finishes with 30-minutes of Jazz dance,  which includes body isolations and stretching - then moving into "across the floor" combinations and ending with a short, fun piece of choreography.

The class infuses ballet, jazz and modern dance.  This contemporary art form teaches strength, control and a sense of maturity in their dance ability through choreography.  Sometimes abstract...sometimes beautiful...a fantastic addition to a committed dancer's curriculum.  Advanced Lyrical will perform in all three Festival Performances.

Being inspired by Kaila Tyros over the past fifteen years, Kaila and Miss Carrie will be offering a fun, freestyle dance class for children with Down Syndrome.  The tuition and teacher's salary for this class will be donated to Camp Paul, Chelmsford, MA.

One thirty-minute class introducing and continuing the love of dance through ballet & tap.  This class is inspired by Kaila Tyros, a long time family member of DNE who is an inspiration to all.
