Musical Theatre Class
Musical Theatre incorporates a combination of acting, singing and simple dance movements. This class will provide students the opportunity to discover enjoyable and moving acting exercises, simple movements for musical theatre and an introduction to singing.
Using a mixture of approaches, methods and techniques, instruction will be concentrated in acting technique, character study, scene work, improvisation, movement, monologue study and stage direction. The focus of this class is on expression and stage presence. We invite you to explore the world of Musical Theatre!
We are thrilled to welcome Mark Dampolo to our teaching family at DNE. Mark will be our Musical Theatre Instructor as well as one of our dance instructors. Mark studied dance & performed with Lynn Makiej & Brenda Fariole in previous years. We welcome you to learn more about Mark in our Staff Information on our website.

For the experienced Hip Hop dancer with two or more years of dance experience. This class offers the latest moves in hip hop dance with warm up, across the floor and fast-paced center choreography.
Intensive Summer Dance Series
The Intensive Summer Series is a weekly dance program designed for the serious dancer registered in intensive level classes or aspiring to be placed in intensive level classes for the Fall Season 2010. The classes are instructed by many of our staff members & guest teachers offering Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop and more...

Intensive Celtic Conditioning

Requirement of two seasons of soft shoe & one season of Hard Shoe
A creative approach to the basic moves of Celtic Step Dancing. Dancers can expect a vigorous workout, including concentration on technique and presentation in the Celtic dance form. In addition, the class will have a complete choreographed Celtic workout that they can take home with them for muscle strengthening and dance preparation.
Ceili Summer Dance

Requirement of two years of soft shoe
Irish social dancing where the intricate patterns, enthusiastic movements, and various formations of Ireland's traditional group dancing come to life! Students can expect to learn several fun filled dances where mostly jigs and reels will be used. A great way to continue to learn more about the culture, music and life of the Celts!
Celtic Hard Shoe

Intermediate Hard Shoe

For the experienced hard shoe dancer who is currently registered in our fall 2009/2010 hard shoe level II/III class. Registration for this class is under the recommendation of Miss Christine.
Advanced Hard Shoe
Ages 9 & older/Tuesday @ 5:00pm
For the experienced hard shoe dancer who is currently registered in our fall 2009/2010 hard shoe advanced level class. Registration for this class is under the recommendation of Miss Christine.
