Holiday Greetings!

May you all enjoy a little rest and relaxation this holiday season.  Thank you SO much for your support and friendship in 2010! We worked really hard to get TFC off the ground this past year, and with your help, we have done so. I'm looking forward to expanding my literacy programs and school visits in 2011 and launching a couple of new projects, as well as taking Dancing in Combat Boots on the road. Look for the fourth book in the Home-Front Heroes series to come out in late summer!  I'm eager for you to read it!

I thought I'd close out the year with a few photos from one of my favorite programs, The Great Book Giveaway for Christmas. Through a sponsorship program, I provided over 400 books and an author holiday visit this year to organizations that work with at-risk, low-income and Hispanic kids. There's nothing I like better than being mobbed by kids who want a book with their very own name inscribed in it!
