Urgent Needs List The Living Room Center
 

The Living Room has a need for many items to help them minister to the women and children who are homeless. Gift Cards and cash donations are greatly appreciated and immediately put to use! Below is a partial list of what they need:

The Drop-In-Center is in need of the following items:

Sacred Yoga ~ Sacred Space: Please join Numina for our new movement centered practice of yoga in the church. We meet every Wednesday from 5:30pm-6:30pm. The practice is gentle version of traditional form of yoga. Mats are provided. All ages and abilities are welcome. No experience necessary. Please join us! Christianity: The First 3,000 Years, part 2 is this Wednesday 70in in room 3. This is a wonderful series about the history of the Christian Church and of our faith. Each week a new DVD is viewed and discussed in light of history and philosophy. Come and join us! Contact Mitch Garcia 703-4162

 

Education for the Ministry (EFM) There will be an information and enrollment session this morning each service in the Library regarding the Education for the Ministry program, better known as EFM. If you are curious or have questions about this wonderful program that incorporates study of the Old and New Testaments, church history, liturgy and theology, stop by the Library and talk to Patrick Lancaster. He can fill you in on program structure, costs, how to enroll, or anything else about the program you would like to know. So come on by!
 

Other Events

Holy Longings, a quiet day at the Bishop's Ranchwith Kayleen Asbo. Saturday, August 20, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm  Fee: $68 Includes lunch and Dinner. Participants are welcome to stay for evensong with the Grace Cathedral Boys Choir after dinner.

Holy Family Episcopal Church Summer Music Camp. Gifted artists and educators in our community will help them explore their own musical abilities. Children in grades 2 through 6 will engage in singing, dancing, games and activities that will develop each child's unique talents. August 8-12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Holy Family Episcopal Church. Tuition $50. Partial scholarships available. Lunch provided Thursday and Friday. --A class for those new to our church, for seekers, for the curious, for those who might want to join the church, and even for those who definitely plan to join the church.

 

--A place to safely explore your faith journey, as well as to connect with others who are new to Incarnation. You'll have a chance to meet our clergy and current leaders, hear about their faith journeys, and learn about the ministries and life of our congregation.

 

--There will be opportunities to ask questions about the Episcopal Church: its ways of worship and traditions, and about our parish: its calling to serve in downtown Santa Rosa and beyond.

 

--Please register for the class by filling out the signup sheet in Farlander, or calling the church office at 707-579-2604. Please let us know if you'll need childcare.
