Heavenly Treasures Open House Today! Heavenly Treasures Thrift and Gift Store is open today after all services.  Come over and discover YOUR treasures -- we have fabulous designer clothes, shoes, and handbags for ridiculously low prices.  You'll look so great that no one will ever know how little you spent.  There's cashmere, silk, wool, leather jackets, designer shoes...the list just goes on and on.  Not only do we have the best gently used items around, but we also have lots of brand new things!  What other thrift store has new sunglasses, French soaps from Provence, and Peruvian jewelry at rock bottom prices?  Our affordable gift items are perfect for gifting, or just a little luxury for yourself.  Come see us after services (we're just two doors north on Mendocino Avenue) and stretch your dollars until they scream!

Numina presents: Taize Caritas Worship this Friday, May 28 at 7:30 pm. A Taize service offers ecumenical worship based on the principles of the Taize Community in France. The service begins in Farlander Hall with a presentation and discussion of a saint, writer, or artist who speaks to us about the spiritual journey, followed by a candlelit contemplative service of chanting and silent meditation in the church. This month the lecture will focus on The Dove Descending: Art and Stories of Pentecost. The service will be led by Kayleen Asbo and Robin O'Brien. Healing prayer will be offered by the Caritas healing team, available in the side Marian Chapel.

Smile! Incarnation is putting together a pictorial church directory with the help of Olan Mills Photographers! Every family that sits for a free photography session will also get a free 8x10 photo. We have already had a great response, but we would love to see ALL of you! Olan Mills photographers will be here May 27 and 28, and June 2 through June 5. See Stephanie Blair or Amy Nykamp for details, and be sure to sign up!

A Warm Thank You from Luther Burbank. We recently received a wonderful thank you card from one of the teachers at Luther Burbank Elementary, the school our Church is committed to helping out, and we thought we should definitely pass the thanks along to you.

"Dear Members of the Church of Incarnation, One of your members arrived today with a large bag of pencils and erasers to be donated to our classroom.  The students eyed them hungrily and exclaimed that 'You are the best!' when it comes to supporting their academic endeavors, and I concur. Your thoughtfulness is very much appreciated, and we'll be thinking of you frequently as we write, make corrections, and rewrite. Thank you so much for helping us become better educated with the proper tools to do so. Burbank School Tigers growl - you are g-r-rr-eat!  Gratefully, Mrs. Morgan, Room 22."
