Street, Santa Rosa) in the upstairs area. Ken Blair will be leading the
discussion. All are welcome. If you would like more information call Mitch

Potluck Dinner this Friday, April 30! Everyone is
invited to the Greeters and Ushers Appreciation Potluck Dinner. Sign
up in Farlander Hall. The evening begins with hors d'oeuvres and wine at 6:00
p.m. Dinner follows at 6:30 p.m. Questions? Call Ron or Carolyn Rausch at

Ballroom Dance classes
have begun! Those
who have attended the dance classes so far have had a wonderful time-come join
them! We suggest a modest donation for each class, and the proceeds will be
donated to The Living Room. From 10:30 am-12 pm, for 4 remaining Saturdays: May
1, 8, 22, and 29. Don't worry, if you miss a session, instructor Jett Sharen
will be available for 10-15 minutes before the class to briefly catch you up on
what you missed. Thank you, Jett!
Good Friday Concert
CD's-Going... Going... Gone! Missed our fantastic Good Friday Concert for some reason? Pickup a CD
from the Bookstore, email Carol Menke (cmenke@sonic.net), or call Claire
Frydenlund (707-579-2604 ext. 104).
The Tuesday Morning Book Group has begun a new
collection of short stories. Listening for God contains stories by
Flannery O'Conner, Annie Dillard, Garrison Keillor, and five other authors. We
continue to meet from 9:30 till 10:30 on Tuesday morning in the Library, which
is at the far end of Farlander from the church. We read the stories aloud and
then discuss them. Please join us.
Lost and Found! We have items that have been
found as long as two years ago! Jewelry, glasses (sun- and regular), umbrella,
keys, watch, purse, bibles, one glove, jackets, sweater, book, shopping bag,
DiskGo & Sony items, tote bag, table center cloth and full table cloth, and
picture holder. Identify and it is yours. If not claimed, all items will go to
the rummage sale in July. Contact the Church Office for more info (579-2604
ext. 104).
Incarnation
Goes Camping! Join us the weekend of
June 25-27 to go camping at Hendy Wo ods. You can choose to play in God's
playground by swimming in the swimming hole or hiking, or you can relax in the
midst of his Creation, or do it all! Space is limited so sign up soon by
calling Stephanie Blair at 707-837-2972, or by emailing her at StephChristel@gmail.com. Cost will depend on
the final number of people who sign up, but is anticipated to be about $20 per
person.
Missed a sermon? Want to share it with
someone? High-quality recordings of our sermons can be found at our
website! Just go to www.incarnation-sr.org, click on "From The
Rector" and then click on "Podcast Sermons." It's easy!
Flower Chart 2010 ~ The Altar Guild wants to
thank all of you who signed up to give flowers this year. You are an important
part of making our old church even more beautiful each and every Sunday. There
are spaces still left on this year's Flower Chart. The Altar Guild arranges the
flowers you see throughout the church, it's part of our responsibilities and we
love doing them. But we can't do it without your help. The average cost for flowers is about
$50.00. Yes, that's a lot of money, but
more than one person/family can sign up to give flowers. (If you can't afford
the full amount, we will gladly accept what you can give.) The church office
calls the donors so a proper notice can be placed in the bulletin each week.
Your flowers do not have to be given for someone who has died. They can be
given in celebration of... or thanksgiving for... or just to the Glory of God.
Remember we have lots to look forward to this year: Earth Day, Mother's Day,
Graduations, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Flag Day, 4th of July,
Children going back to school, Labor Day, The choirs are singing again, Grandparent's
Day, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, The tomatoes and zucchini are finally done,
The annual pledge drive is done, or just because..... The Flower Chart is located in the back of
the church, near the doors. Please help us to continue making our church
beautiful each Sunday and sign up soon. Thank you, The
Altar Guild
Summer
Safety Fair - May 30th! We're taking our
usual Summer Festival and merging it with a Summer Safety Fair to create one
fantastic event! After the 10 am service, we'll have a BBQ, a water slide
(bring your swimsuit!), and tables where you can get information on
Walking/Hiking, Gardening (Organic, Community Gardens, Container Gardening),
Boating and Water Safety, and Summer Skin Safety. We hope you join us to eat,
learn, and have a great time together as we celebrate the beginning of the
Summer Season. If you have a particular passion for any of the subjects listed,
you might want to consider helping to "man a table." Please contact Gail
Cafferata (pastorgail@incarnation-sr.org,
or 707-579-2604 x103) for more info.
