Sunday Announcements
April 4, 2010 ~ Easter Sunday

A Big Thank You to all who helped with the Easter baskets at our Basket Full of Blessings Party. They looked so beautiful and were definitely expressions of our love to those who couldn't join us in person. Thank you, also, for the donations for St. Andrews. I went out and set the tables with flowers, colorful table cloths and all your baked goods. Everything looked so beautiful and festive. Thank you for your outpouring of love for our mission church.

Blessings abound,

Daphne

At long last - Ballroom Dance Classes begin April 17th! Dance instructor Jett Sharen is ready to offer 6 ballroom dance classes to those interested. We didn't garner quite enough interest to sponsor a big dance, so instead, we'll be suggesting a modest donation for each class, and the proceeds will be donated to The Living Room. Even if you can't make a donation each time, come join us for fellowship and lots of fun as we dance together! The class will be 10:30 am-12 pm, for 6 Saturdays: April 17 & 24, and May 1, 8, 22, and 29.

Heavenly Treasures Open House next Sunday, April 18! There are bargains galore at Heavenly Treasures! Come find lots of spring and summer clothes, along with vintage items, books, jewelry, accessories, and wonderful miscellany. We'll be open next Sunday after all services, from 9-1. Shop with us and do good, as profits are donated to social service and justice organizations such as The Living Room.

The Evening Women's Group will meet on Tuesday, April 20 at 7 pm at the home of Martha Peterson, who will present a program on music: music appreciation and where music comes from, including a section on international music. All women are welcome to join us. We are a supportive group providing a place to share our lives and our spiritual journeys with each other, building friendships as we go. Please RSVP to Martha Peterson at 707-838-4208. Martha's address: 6418 Old Redwood Highway (Shamrock Mobile Homes), #20 Shamrock Circle. Parking is limited, so please carpool if possible - save gas and parking space! If you have any questions about the group in general, please contact Donna Wiuff at 707-837-8768.

Small Groups at Incarnation

New Small Group: The Philosophy Group

The Philosophy Group will have its first gathering on April 12 at 7 PM at Stout Brothers -- Irish Pub and Restaurant (527 Fourth Street, Santa Rosa) in the upstairs area. Ken Blair will be leading the discussion. If you would like more information call Mitch at 707-703-4162 or email smallgroups@incarnation-sr.org.

Morning Prayers

Morning Prayers are offered every day (except Wednesday) at 8 AM in the Marian Chapel. This community meets for a half-hour of prayer using the Book of Common Prayer as their guide. After prayers they meet in the library for a time of fellowship and a light breakfast. All are welcome to share in this time of care and love towards one another and the body of Christ.

Centering Prayer

Centering Prayer meets every Monday from 5:15-6:15 PM in the Clergy Conference Room. Centering Prayer is a technique of silent prayer that prepares us to receive the gift of contemplative prayer, prayer in which we experience God's presence within us. This practice of prayer is both a relationship with God and a discipline to foster that relationship. All are welcome!

Bible Study Group

We offer an open Bible Study Group in a local home. We meet every other Tuesday (6:30-8 PM). Currently we are exploring the Lectionary through study, reflection, discussion and conversation. All are welcome. If you would like to attend our next gathering (April 13), please email Mitch at smallgroups@incarnation-sr.org or call me at 707-703-4162.
