Anam CaraAll-Parish Advent Party! Light your inner candle: come join us Sunday, November 29th from 5-7 pm. We'll share the light of hope and renewal together, amidst fun and fellowship. Make an Advent wreath (roll your own beeswax candles!), make Christingles, and enjoy yummy Anam Caragoodies. Fun for all ages - come see for yourself! We do ask that you RSVP to Daphne (579-2604 ext. 106 or youthmin@incarnation-sr.org) by next Sunday, November 22nd if you're coming, so we know how many Advent wreath kits to buy. Please find Advent wreath kit sign up flyers in your bulletin or in Farlander Hall, on the square table. Come join the fun, for a beautiful kickoff for the season of Advent!

New Small Group: Centering Prayer! We now offer a Centering Prayer Gathering that meets every Monday from 5:30-6:30 pm in the Clergy Conference Room. Centering Prayer is a technique of silent prayer that prepares us to receive the gift of contemplative prayer, prayer in which we experience God's presence within us. This practice of prayer is both a relationship with God and a discipline to foster that relationship. All are welcome!

A reminder that if you have any questions about Small Groups or would like to offer a suggestion for a new Small Group, please call Mitch Garcia at 703-4162 or email him at smallgroups@incarnation-sr.org.

Anam CaraDiscovery Sunday, December 6th
Find out who St. Nicholas really was, during this special service! Join us for a pancake breakfast afterwards. Bring a stocking stuffer for donation to kids at St. Andrews (see description below).

St. Andrews Stockings
Every year our youth group puts together stockings for kids out at St. Andrews Episcopal Mission in Monte Rio. Please help us by bringing a small stocking stuffer for all ages, boy or girl. Our youth will be so grateful for your help in their outreach efforts. Bring your stocking stuffers to the December 6th Discovery Sunday service. There will be a basket in church for your unwrapped donation. Thank you!

A note about Pastoral Care...
My gosh, is it really the end of 2009??  Each year seems to pass more quickly than the last! The good news is that your Pastoral Care team is alive and well and rejoicing in the return of Fr. Matt after his sabbatical. And, thanks to the Community Foundation of Sonoma CoAnam Caraunty, we finally have our AED in place in Farlander Hall.  Thanks be to God for our many blessings. Our next goal is to have a Parish Nurse/Coordinator in place.  Pamela Moore, Patrick Lancaster and I continue to meet to work on this project and will keep you apprised of our progress-please, keep us in your prayers as we work on this important project. If you have any Pastoral Care concerns, please notify the monthly Pastoral Care Coordinator (listed in the bulletin every week) or call the church office and let Claire know of your need or concern.
