We apologize for this interruption of your normally scheduled MVG Weekly Update as we bring you an important news flash: Channel 8 News has picked up the story of MVG's campaign against the Montgomery County Public Schools ban on vegetable gardens on school property, and will be broadcasting the segment on their news program this Thursday afternoon, at approximately 5:15pm. (The technology is amazing - I just finished interviewing with the guy at 2:30, and it will be on the air at 5:15!)
We're very excited about this and other developments in our campaign to bring food gardens to MCPS schools, including the recent addition of the Montgomery County Commission on Health to our sign on letter to Superintendent Weast, and will be reporting on it all fully in our (slightly delayed) MVG Update this week.
