'A Garden of Opportunity' Business-to-Consumer Expo
 Save the date for 'A Garden of Opportunity,' the Chamber's annual business-to-consumer expo. 'A Garden of Opportunity' is a free event designed to connect consumers, families, seniors and business professionals with local businesses that grow opportunities for the local community. The event will be held from 4 - 8 p.m. April 18 in the North Hall First National Bank Building at the Ranch.

Northern Colorado Legislative Alliance
Pinnacol Assurance is back. Despite promises to pull its efforts to privatize the quasi-government worker's compensation insurer of last resort for this legislative session, the insurer appears to be working behind the scenes in an effort to introduce legislation yet this year to accomplish their primary objective.
Pinnacol privatization and other key issues moved through the statehouse last week. In addition to tracking progress on legislative proposals through NCLA's Legislative Tracking Report, this week's Under the Dome discusses the Pinnacol effort and a modernization of Colorado's telecommunications laws.
