Reis Ranch Newsletter

To the Friends of Reis Ranch,

We had a great crowd in Ocala, Florida this past weekend. We all stuck it out together

in considerable heat .The temperature was around 97 degrees with 100 percent humidity! Man - I do not know how people survive the summers out here.  I wish I owned stock in the shaved ice concessions they had at the event center!

We have reached our goal on the east coast and have turned back around and headed west.

We are on our way to Sulphur, Louisiana and have really been enjoying the scenery along the gulf coast.

The multitude of river by-ways lined with boating shacks and what looks like 100's of "Bubba Gump Shrimpin' Boats". We spent the night at the Lamar Dixon event center in Gonzales, LA last night.  They have a great RV park area that fit our fleet nicely and they have a beautiful tree and pond filled park that surrounds the facility.

This is a great place to lay over when traveling with horses! We crossed the Mississippi River and I was pleased to see what looked like old time river gambling boats docked along it's banks.

Please come out and see us in Louisiana this weekend!
