There was no meeting in July.  Our next meeting is Sunday, August 17, 6:30 - 9:30 PM at the "Song and Spirit Center" in Bel Marin Keys (Novato).  Directions are given at the end of this announcement.  Please be on time, and remember to bring some good snacks that we all can share. 
 

We are proud to present Jan Cercone on Sound Healing at Jan's new Center.  Here is her description:

 
Sound Healing ......Solutions For Our Times
 
We ARE sound.  Our body is a complex matrix of frequencies that interacts with others, our environment and our spirit guides.  We can actually plot these frequencies through computerized technology called the Voice Bio.  I will explain how our body expresses itself through musical frequencies and how we can re-balance ourselves through tone.  I will guide the group through a Voice Bio session and demonstrate how to use sound to break disease patterns and re-claim health and vitality.  
 
This experiential evening will include toning with crystal bowls, accessing deep states of relaxation with scientifically designed sound tools, and discussion of the principles of sound healing.  You will experience sound with intentional guided visualization that accesses deep activation processes for healing and release.
 
Come prepared to be transported through the alchemy of sacred sound with scientific principles.  My studio presentation will include gongs, new stringed instruments, and perfectly tuned crystal bowls along with divine vocals.  A metaphysical emphasis will give us a picture of how sound fits into our personal and planetary ascension processes.  Expect a full, rich evening of sound experiences and lively discussion. 
 
Jan Cercone, RN, MA, Certified Music and Voice Bio Practitioner most recently taught at the Globe Sound Healing Institute in SF.  She presents at the World Sound Healing conferences "The Voice as an Intentional Healing Tool" and worked with Sutter Hospice patients and Palm Drive hospital providing music care and education.  She is a ceremonialist, professional singer, author and radio program host.  Her newly opened center, Song and Spirit, hosts sound oriented events: Sound Journeys, Thursday evening groups, and Sound Healing education.  She brings an enthusiastic, fresh approach to the field of Sound Healing and uses her voice for transmissions and activations. ABOUT RAHM

RAHM is a forum for people to share what they have learned in their lives, their classes, workshops, degree programs, books and other media.  The group is structured on non-hierarchical principles.  We each share and contribute equally. 
 
The purpose of RAHM is practical, with an emphasis on healing, guidance, therapy, and personal growth.  It's not just a "lecture" group but is also experiential.  Topics are based on the presenter's own background and skills - or can be something the presenter would like to learn more about.  There is no better way to learn something than to teach it! 

The RAHM group (Reading And Healing Marin) meets monthly, every 3rd or 4th Sunday or as pre-announced, and unless otherwise notified, roughly 6:30PM - 9:30PM.  It is important to be on time!  For directions, see below.   
 
There will be short breaks and light snacks.  There is no charge for RAHM meetings, but please bring something to share.  In some exercises, we may be lying on the floor.  So bring pillows if you can, and dress comfortably.

From Hwy 101 Northbound:

 

Exit Ignacio Blvd./Bel Marin Keys and turn left at the off-ramp light onto Nave Drive.  From turn only lane, turn right at first light onto Bel Marin Keys heading East and at first light, turn right onto Commercial.  Go .3 mile and turn left into driveway for building 31 - look for the blue flag.  Park in rear lot or curbside and enter Suite F.

You will see a circular window at the end of the building row, that's our loft.

Exit Bel Marin Keys/Hamilton Field/Nave Drive and turn right onto overpass heading East which becomes Bel Marin Keys.  At second light, turn right onto Commercial, continue .3 mile and turn left into driveway for building 31 - look for the blue flag.  Park in rear lot or curbside and enter Suite F.  You will see a circular window at the end of the building row, that's our loft.
