Dear Friends:

Our September
meeting with David
Kitts on "Sensing the Soul Structure" was fascinating.  We learned about
the intricate structure of our energy bodies, and experienced individual
 and
group healings.  Thank you David!

Our next
meeting should be
both educational and fun!  Arisa Victor will be giving a mini-workshop
on
the Tarot.  The meeting is at Jocelyn Barnett's home in San
Rafael.  See directions below.  The date is Sunday, October 28, 6:30 -
9:30PM.  Please
bring Halloween costume materials!
(See description below).

Here is Arisa's
 description of "A
Tarot Experience."

Arisa Victor, a
Priestess of Isis and an Elder of the Western
Hermetic Wisdom Tradition, who has 39 years of experience as a
professional occultist, will present one of her major passions in life:
the
Tarot.
This evening will have three parts.  First, a brief
introduction to the Tarot, including answers to any questions you may
have
about it.  Second, Arisa will give a mini reading to a
volunteer.  Third, each participant will be invited to pick a card -
one of the Major Arcana - and feel into the archetype it represents.
With Arisa's guidance, we will create simple costumes and/or find
appropriate props.  Once participants are "in the spirit" of their
chosen archetype, we will share inspirations and insights gained by
contacting the archetypal world.
This sharing part will be done
in a fun,
safe, ceremonial setting.  You will have a direct experience of how
the Tarot stirs up your intuition, imagination, and
creativity.  Any costume materials you might have
available during the Halloween season would be welcomed and shared:
items
such as crown, cape, robe, sash, scarf, fake flowers, toy serpents,
wands,
chalices, stage swords, etc.  These articles
will be pooled, and distributed in an intuitive process.  Everything
is returned when the ceremony is over.
  This evening is offered in
 the
spirit of sacred fun, education, exploration, self-discovery,
empowerment,
and self-expression.
Having studied in a Mystery School, compiled
 and
edited a book on the relationship between Tarot and Cabala, read cards
at
the Open Secret Bookstore (in San Rafael) for the past 9 years, and
taught
magical subjects for many, many moons, Arisa has evolved a very
positive,
spiritual approach to using the fascinating Tarot cards.  Her business
is
called Tarot  Blessings.

ABOUT RAHM
  RAHM
 is a
forum for people to share what they have learned in their lives, their
classes,
workshops, degree programs, books and other media.  The group is
structured
on non-hierarchical principles.  We each share and contribute
equally.

The purpose of
RAHM is practical,
with an emphasis on healing, guidance, therapy, and personal growth.
It's
not just a "lecture" group but is also experiential.  Topics are based
on
the presenter's own background and skills - or can be something the
presenter
would like to learn more about.  There is no better way to learn
something
than to teach it!
The RAHM group (Reading And Healing Marin)
meets
monthly, every 3rd or 4th Sunday or as pre-announced, and unless
otherwise
notified, 6:30PM - 9:30PM.  It is important to be on time!  For
directions, see below.       There will be short
breaks and light snacks.  There is no charge for RAHM meetings, but
please
bring something to share.  In some exercises, we may be lying on the
floor.  So bring pillows if you can, and dress comfortably.
