Dear Friends:
This meeting
and hike were
scheduled for Sunday, August 5 on Mt. Tamalpais. The weather did not
cooperate! It was cold, windy, foggy, and even a bit rainy - very
unusual
for a summer day. The small group that showed up decided to take a
rain check. Instead, we spent a leisurely afternoon at the Mountain
Home
Inn.
Elina and Ben
have decided to do
this a little differently. The presentation on Nature Spirits will be
indoors at Adriana's house this coming Sunday evening, August 12 at
6:30PM. The hike will be re-scheduled sometime for September or
October.
We apologize
for the late
notice. Here again is a description of what they will talk about:
"Elina
and Ben will give a presentation on fairies, orbs and nature spirits.
We
will be hearing about the history of fairies in Europe, their roles,
and about mysterious orbs and other nature spirits.
If you have your own pictures or stories
of
nature spirits, fairies or orbs, also those are greatly
welcomed!
We
are looking forward to sharing this day with you, on the world of nature
spirits!"

ABOUT RAHM
RAHM
is a
forum for people to share what they have learned in their lives, their
classes,
workshops, degree programs, books and other media. The group is
structured
on non-hierarchical principles. We each share and contribute
equally.
The purpose of
RAHM is practical,
with an emphasis on healing, guidance, therapy, and personal growth.
It's
not just a "lecture" group but is also experiential. Topics are based
on
the presenter's own background and skills - or can be something the
presenter
would like to learn more about. There is no better way to learn
something
than to teach it!
The RAHM group (Reading And Healing Marin)
meets
monthly, every 3rd or 4th Sunday or as pre-announced, and unless
otherwise
notified, 6:30PM - 9:30PM. It is important to be on time! For
directions, see below.
There will be short
breaks and light snacks. There is no charge for RAHM meetings, but
please
bring something to share. In some exercises, we may be lying on the
floor. So bring pillows if you can, and dress comfortably.
