Dear Friends:
Due to a family emergency, we (Adriana and
Steve) were
unable to attend November's meeting with Jacque Bovee, who presented on
Feng
Shui.  We heard great reports about Jacque's talk, and are very grateful
for her leadership!  We would also like to extend a special thanks to
Carmen Vargas, who helped with the hosting.
Our next meeting
will
be earlier than usual in December, to avoid conflicts with the Holiday
season.  The date is Sunday, December 17, 6:30PM - 9:30PM.  Starting
in January, we will resume meetings towards the end of the month.
To celebrate the season, we are inviting everyone to participate
 in a
holiday game.  The meeting will be an exchange of skills - like a gift
exchange.  Please be prepared to give and receive.
Skills you
could
share: Psychic Reading, Feng Shui Reading, Hypnotherapy, Tarot Reading,
I-Ching
Reading, Astrology Reading, Vibrational or Sonic Healing, Reiki, Hands
on
Healing, Massage, etc.
If you don't have a skill, or do not
wish
to share one - that's OK.  Nobody is under any obligation to be a
giver.  We will make the best of it.  But here is a suggestion:
We have learned a lot of new skills since the RAHM group began in
April.
This would be a great opportunity for you to pick one or two of those
skills for
practice.  You don't have to be an expert!  If you have never been to
a RAHM meeting, please come and share whatever you can.
December's
meeting will be at Adriana's home in Novato.  Directions are given at
the
end of this email.   Please RSVP as soon as possible.  We would
like to know who is going to be there.  If you are coming from a long
distance, and are willing to give someone a ride, let us know well in
advance so
that we can help coordinate rides.
We are also looking toward
future
topics.  Before beginning the Skills Exchange, we will brainstorm to
find topics people would like to give or receive in 2007.
Remember, the purpose of RAHM is practical, with an emphasis on
healing,
guidance, therapy, and personal growth.  It's not just a "lecture" group
but is also experiential.  Topics are based on the presenter's own
background and skills - or can something the presenter would like to
learn more
about.  There is no better way to learn something than to teach it!
We look forward to seeing you there!
Steve and
Adriana

ABOUT
RAHM
RAHM is a forum for people to share what they have learned
in their
lives, their classes, workshops, degree programs, books and other
media.
The group is structured on non-hierarchical principles.  We each share
and
contribute equally.
The RAHM group (Reading And Healing Marin)
meets monthly, every 3rd or 4th Sunday as pre-announced, and unless
otherwise
notified, 6:30PM - 9:30PM.  It is important to be on time!  For
directions, see below.

There will be short
breaks and light snacks.  There is no charge for RAHM meetings, but
please
bring something to share (nothing that would require utensils).  In some
exercises, we may be lying on the floor.  So bring pillows if you can,
and
dress comfortably.

Sincerely,

Steve
