practical,
with an emphasis on healing, guidance, therapy, and personal growth.
It's
not just a "lecture" group but is also meant to be experiential. Topics
are based on the presenter's own background and skills - or can
something the
presenter would like to learn more about. There is no better way to
learn
something than to teach it!

ABOUT RAHM
RAHM is a forum for people to share what they have learned in their
lives, their classes, workshops, degree programs, books and other
media.
The group is structured on non-hierarchical principles. We each share
and
contribute equally.
The name of the group is Reading And Healing Marin (RAHM), although it is not exclusively for Marin
residents. The
acronym spells out the word Rahm. Rahm in Hebrew and Arabic signifies "The
merciful or
compassionate one." But Rahm also
signifies the Womb as
the seat of compassion. Rahm can also
mean "high" or
"lofty" in Hebrew. In Bavarian, Rahm
means Cream - ie.)
The best people or things in a group - "cream of the crop." The
Numerology for
RAHM is 22/4 which is a master vibration.
In the first
psychic reading received in 1971, Steve was told that his main spirit
guide was
Rahm, and that the name had magical
significance if he
would chant it.
The RAHM
group
(Reading And Healing Marin) meets monthly, every 3rd or 4th Sunday as
pre-announced, and unless otherwise notified, 6:30PM - 9:30PM. It is
important to be on
time! For directions, see
below.
Each meeting
will be
divided into three hourly sessions. There can be some flexibility,
but this is the preferred structure:
- The first
hour will be a
presentation by someone in the group.
We will each take turns being presenter, from month to month.
- The second
hour will be
the healing/reading (etc.) exchange.
Even if you don't have the skills, that's OK. We
will be teaching each other these
skills. Alternatively, the first 2 hours can be an integration of
lecture
and workshop - at the presenter's discretion.
- The third
hour will be
a discussion of our experiences of the evening. It can
also include a free-flowing, round-table discussion on relevant
topics.
There will be short breaks and light snacks.
Please bring something to share (nothing that would
require utensils). In some exercises, we may be lying on the
floor. So bring pillows if you can, and dress
comfortably.

Directions
to the home of
Adriana Ames - 602 Bolling Circle, Novato
From the
South:
1.
Take 101 North to Marin County. Exit at the Alameda del
Prado/Hamilton exit. Go towards Hamilton; you will be on Nave
Drive.
2. Turn right at the first light, which is Bolling Drive (this is
before you get to
the entrance of the Hamilton Base).
3. Go
straight until the
road ends (you'll see the fire station to your
right).
Turn right into Bolling Circle and park
on the street.
The
house is on the second driveway to the left: 602 Bolling
Circle.
From the
North:
1. Take 101 South to the Alameda del Prado Exit. Go left
on
Alameda del Prado. Then take a left on Nave Drive.
2. Follow the
directions above (#2 and #3).
