Dear Friends:
The August RAHM meeting on Manifesting was an un-expected
hit! We each shared our manifesting techniques, books,
stories, ideas - and did practical group exercises. Each participant
had a unique presentation. We felt the results, and some of us have
continued practicing what we learned.
As there are so many possibilities, we are extending this topic to
Manifesting Part II.
For those who did not show up for
the first meeting, don't miss this one! Bring your favorite manifesting
,
books, stories, ideas and techniques. If you were at the last meeting,
you
can either present something new, or expand on the topic you presented
last
time.
The next meeting will be Sunday, September 24, 6:30 -
9:30PM. We will meet once again at Adriana's home in Novato.
Directions are given at the end of this email. Please RSVP
as soon as possible. We would like to know
who is going to be
there. If you are coming from a long distance, and are willing to give
someone a ride, let us know well in advance so that we can help
coordinate
rides.
We will spend a few minutes at the beginning of the meeting
reviewing what
was presented last time and we will have some handouts on Siva Baba and
DMA
manifesting techniques. Here are some websites related to our

We discussed having a separate gathering to view the video "The
Secret" on
this topic, and will discuss that at the next meeting. We will not view
the entire movie during this meeting.
If you
would like to be a future presenter, please
let us know. We will have a signup sheet at the next
meeting. The purpose of RAHM is
practical, with an
emphasis on healing, guidance, therapy, and personal growth. It's not
just
a "lecture" group but is also meant to be experiential. Topics are
based
on the presenter's own background and skills - or can something the
presenter
would like to learn more about. There is no better way to learn
something
than to teach it!

ABOUT RAHM
RAHM is a forum for people to share what they have learned in their
lives, their classes, workshops, degree programs, books and other
media.
The group is structured on non-hierarchical principles. We each share
and
contribute equally.
The RAHM
group
(Reading And Healing Marin) meets monthly, every 3rd or 4th Sunday as
pre-announced, and unless otherwise notified, 6:30PM - 9:30PM. It is
important to be on
time! For directions, see
below.
Each meeting
will be
divided into three hourly sessions. There can be some flexibility,
but this is the preferred structure:
- The first
hour will be a
presentation by someone in the group.
We will each take turns being presenter, from month to month.
- The second
hour will be
the healing/reading (etc.) exchange.
Even if you don't have the skills, that's OK. We
will be teaching each other these
skills. Alternatively, the first 2 hours can be an integration of
lecture
and workshop - at the presenter's discretion.
- The third
hour will be
a discussion of our experiences of the evening. It can
also include a free-flowing, round-table discussion on relevant
topics.
There will be short breaks and light snacks.
Please bring something to share (nothing that would
require utensils). In some exercises, we may be lying on the
floor. So bring pillows if you can, and dress
comfortably.

Directions
to the home of
Adriana Ames - 602 Bolling Circle, Novato
From the
South:
1.
Take 101 North to Marin County. Exit at the Alameda del
Prado/Hamilton exit. Go towards Hamilton; you will be on Nave
Drive.
2. Turn right at the first light, which is Bolling Drive (this is
before you get to
the entrance of the Hamilton Base).
3. Go
straight until the
road ends (you'll see the fire station to your
right).
Turn right into Bolling Circle and park
on the street.
The
house is on the second driveway to the left: 602 Bolling
Circle.
From the
North:
1. Take 101 South to the Alameda del Prado Exit. Go left
on
Alameda del Prado. Then take a left on Nave Drive.
2. Follow the
directions above (#2 and #3).
