We had a fascinating RAHM meeting in June! Norm
McVea played his iBliss Sacred Geometry DVD, and everyone enjoyed deep
insight and healing. If you missed the meeting and want to experience
this for yourself, please contact Norm. His information is listed below
in
the directions to his house.
The next meeting will be Sunday, July 23, 6:30 - 9:30PM.

as possible. We would like to know
who is going to be there. If you are coming from a long distance, and
are
willing to give someone a ride, let us know well in advance so that we
can
help coordinate rides.
We are very fortunate to meet once again at the beautiful home of
Norm
McVea and Sharon Hart in Bel Marin Keys, not very far from Adriana's
house where
we had the first two meetings. Directions are given at the end of this
email.
The presenters will be Richard Tunkel and Diane Kelly. The topic
is Deekshah. Here is what they have to say about it.
Diane and
Richard will be giving Mukti Deeksha, a transfer of
divine energy for enlightenment. The word "Mukti" means
liberation,
and "Deeksha" means initiation.
However, this is
not an initiation into a set of practices or beliefs. It is an
initiation (or deepening) into an inner process, allowing the gradual
unfoldment
of awareness. The ability for Diane and Richard to give Deeksha is a
divine gift, given to them by two Avatars in India, Sri Amma and Sri
Bhagavan,
whose mission is to bring an end of suffering to humankind.
The
receipt of Deeksha is a divine gift. Because of this,
there should ideally be an energetic or Karmic exchange, thus
facilitating the
energy transfer. To make the Deekshah more effective, you may wish to
make
a modest donation ($10 or more suggested), or perhaps bring an offering
of fruit
or flowers. However, the RAHM group does not require a fee or
offering.
If you
would like to be a future presenter, please
let us know. We will have a signup sheet at the next
meeting. The purpose of RAHM is
practical, with an
emphasis on healing, guidance, therapy, and personal growth. It's not
just
a "lecture" group but is also meant to be experiential. Topics are
based
on the presenter's own background and skills - or can something the
presenter
would like to learn more about. There is no better way to learn
something
than to teach it!

ABOUT RAHM
RAHM is a forum for people to share what they have learned in their
lives, their classes, workshops, degree programs, books and other
media.
The group is structured on non-hierarchical principles. We each share
and
contribute equally.
The RAHM
group
(Reading And Healing Marin) meets monthly, every 3rd or 4th Sunday as
pre-announced, and unless otherwise notified, 6:30PM - 9:30PM. It is
important to be on
time! For directions, see
below.
Each meeting
will be
divided into three hourly sessions. There can be some flexibility,
but this is the preferred structure:
- The first
hour will be a
presentation by someone in the group.
We will each take turns being presenter, from month to month.
- The second
hour will be
the healing/reading (etc.) exchange.
Even if you don't have the skills, that's OK. We
will be teaching each other these
skills. Alternatively, the first 2 hours can be an integration of
lecture
and workshop - at the presenter's discretion.
- The third
hour will be
a discussion of our experiences of the evening. It can
also include a free-flowing, round-table discussion on relevant
topics.
There will be short breaks and light snacks.
Please bring something to share (nothing that would
require utensils). In some exercises, we may be lying on the
floor. So bring pillows if you can, and dress
comfortably.
