Dear Friends:
This email is to announce a new group sponsored by Adriana Ames and
Steve Glanz. The purpose of the
group is to provide a forum for spiritual sharing, metaphysical reading
and
healing, and a sharing of our knowledge and skills. The
first meeting will be Sunday, April
23, 6:30 - 9:30PM in Novato (see below).
This is a forum
for people to
share what they have learned in their lives, their classes, workshops,
degree
programs, books and other media. The group will be structured on
non-hierarchical principles. We
each share and contribute equally.
This will be a group creation.
The name of the
group is Reading
And Healing Marin (RAHM). The
acronym spells out the word Rahm. Rahm
in Hebrew and Arabic signifies "The
merciful or compassionate one." But Rahm also signifies the Womb as the
seat of
compassion. Rahm can also mean "high" or "lofty" in Hebrew. In Bavarian, Rahm means Cream - ie.) The
best people or things in a group - "cream
of the crop."
The Numerology for RAHM is 22/4 which is a master vibration. In the
first
psychic reading I received in 1971, Steve was told that his main spirit
guide
was Rahm, and that the name had magical significance for him if he would
chant
it.
Although we
will meet in Marin,
non-Marin residents are also being invited. Space is
limited, so this group is by
invitation only.
The group will
meet monthly,
every 3rd Sunday (unless otherwise notified), 6:30PM - 9:30PM at the
home of
Adriana Ames in Novato. For
directions, see below .*
The afternoon
will be divided
into three hourly sessions:
- The first
hour will be a
presentation by someone in the group.
We will each take turns being presenter, from month to month.
- The second
hour will be
the healing/reading exchange. Even
if you don't have the skills, that's OK.
We will be teaching each other these skills.
- The third
hour will be a
free-flowing, round-table discussion on relevant topics.
There
will be short breaks and light snacks.
Please bring something to share (nothing that would
require utensils). In some exercises, we may be lying on the
floor. So bring pillows if you can, and dress comfortably.

just some of the topics that can be covered, both as a presentation,
and
for the healing hour.

The first
meeting on April 23
will be a presentation by Adriana Ames and Russ Lee on hypnotherapy. The 2nd hour will be a group
exercise in hypnotherapy. In the
3rd hour, we can discuss our goals as a group, or whatever
comes up
in discussion.

* Directions to
the home of
Adriana Ames - 602 Bolling Circle, Novato
From the South:
1.
Take 101 North to Marin County. Exit at the Alameda del
Prado/Hamilton exit. Go towards Hamilton; you will be on Nave
Drive.
2. Turn right at the first light, which is Bolling Drive (this is
before you get to
the entrance of the Hamilton Base).
3. Go
straight until the road
ends (you'll see the fire station to your
right). Turn
right into Bolling Circle and park on the
street.
The
house is on the second driveway to the left: 602 Bolling
Circle.
From the
North:
1. Take 101 South to the Alameda del Padro Exit. Go left
on
Alameda del Prado. Then take a left on Nave Drive.
2. Follow the
directions above (#2 and #3).
