Lent and Our Schools Our Kids

Our Kids Our Schools lunch program offers one menu for all.

Ave Maria wanted to make you aware of this and that it will be your
responsibility to manage abstinence of meat as OKOS will not remove meat items from the menu.  They cater to many schools, not all of them Catholic.

For your awareness, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops states, "every
person 14 years of age or older must abstain from meat on Ash Wednesday,
Good Friday, and all the Fridays of Lent. "
