Math Counts Competition

 

Frank Cahill braved the snow storm and competed on Saturday, February 4, in the Colorado Springs Chapter of the Math Counts Competition.  He placed 8th out of 108 students in the written exam.  He qualified to the Sprint round and came in 9th.  He has also qualified to compete in the State competition which will be held Saturday, March 10, at the School of Mines.  We are so proud of you, Frank!

Regis Jesuit Spring Show

 

TIckets are now available for "A Midsummer Night's Dream", the spring show at Regis Jesuit High School.  Come see several AMCS alumni on the stage March 16-18, 2012!  TIckets are $15 for general admission and $10 for elementary and middle school students.

Ave Maria Used Uniform Donations for upcoming Sale on Sat., March 3

 

AMCS Used Uniform Sale is coming on Saturday, March 3, from 9:00am -
11:00am.  Please drop off gently used and clean uniforms beginning on Tuesday, February 21 through Wednesday, February 29, in the school's front office. Any donations after this timeframe can be dropped off at the uniform sale on Saturday, March 3.  

Please note we will NO LONGER ACCEPT uniform donations of Polo's, Sweaters, and Vest with the Angel Wings Logo.

Ave Maria Parish Tuition Gift Form

 

The Ave Maria Parish Tuition Gift Form is available in the Parish and School Offices.  Forms need to be returned to the church office by February 29, for all current families.

 

Catholic Schools' Week - Special Recognition

 

Ave Maria Catholic School has several staff members that were recognized at the Bishop's Mass in Colorado Springs.  A big congratulations goes to...

 

For 5 Years of Service:  Beth Keating, Amy Wardynski, Lisa Binder, Sharon Nordini, Joan Kennedy, and Jose Gomez.

 

For 10 Years of Service:  Kari Rodgers

 

And drum roll please...A very special award "St. Peter the Rock" Award was awarded to Jose Gomez!!!!!
