Seasons of Life

"There is a time for everything, a season for every activity under heaven."

ECCLESIASTES 3:1

We are autumn people.  We are always called to be in the process of growing and changing.  May our minds and hearts be open to this inner season which is a part of us.  Let us pause and let the falling leaves remind us of the call to accept and grow from the daily "letting go" of our days and to love as Jesus loved.

Hot Lunches

Hot lunches will begin on October 3! Ordering began this Saturday, September 24. We will also be offering a Chick Fil A menu on Mondays and a special Papa John's pizza day on Fridays, all through Our Kids Our Schools!

We are so fortunate to have Whole Foods chefs, Chick Fil A (owned by one of our families) and Papa John's making our lunches fresh each day for our kids and our staff. These affordable lunches cost the same as if you had bought high quality product and made them yourselves, and there are no delivery charges.

We know that children who eat better foods - less processed, less additives and more real food - get better grades, have less behavior problems, and do better in sports.

If you haven't already, join now - there is no obligation - and take a look at the variety of options you have to choose from!

And remember, a portion of the revenue goes back to Ave Maria!

Handbook Highlights

PARTIES - Classroom parties are scheduled during the school year. Room parents are asked to help plan these parties, which are held during the last period of the school day. The celebration of birthdays is at the discretion of the classroom teacher. Please make arrangements prior to the day you plan on celebrating. Any treats sent to school must be individually wrapped and pre-packaged. Treats brought into the school cannot contain nuts or nut oil. No cupcakes are allowed in the school. All snacks/treats must meet the Wellness Policy available in the school office for review. Floral or balloon bouquets may not be sent to the school for students. If delivered to the school, the items will remain in the school office until the end of the day.

Invitations to private parties may NOT be distributed at school unless EACH child in the class is included. If only a select few children are invited, please mail the invitations. Please be advised that the school office is NOT permitted to provide addresses for current or former students PRIOR to the distribution of the AMCS Family Directory. Other resources include the Parish Directory, the local phone book, and the student themselves.

Gifts exchanged between friends must be done outside of school; including Christmas and birthdays.
