Third Edition of the Roman Missal-Part I
What is the Roman Missal? It is the Rite used by the church to guide the priest as he offers Holy Mass. There is a new rite that will be implemented on the First Sunday of Advent, Nov. 27th What does this mean for you? The people will learn new responses and prayers that have a deeper meaning. The priests will have even more to learn as most of the prayers have been retranslated and revised. During this session we will investigate the history of the Mass and learn why the Pope and Bishops found it necessary to offer a new translation.

Parents' Prayer
Parents Prayer is a group that prays for the intentions of one classroom from Ave Maria, as well as, for those who are in attendance. All school parents are invited to join other parents in prayer in St. Katherine Drexel in Dwyer Hall before every ALL SCHOOL Mass (typically on a Friday). If not a week of an ALL SCHOOL Mass, then the group meets on Wednesdays after morning drop-off. Members generally pray the rosary (the prayers and rosaries are provided). For more information contact Lisa Smith at 303-805-4527.
