At last month's luncheon, we made two exciting announcements. First, we have proudly unveiled the first stage in a complete overhaul of of www.midwaychamber.com - You can check out some screenshots below, or go straight to the site and see all of the new content it has to offer. We also announced a LIMITED TIME new member offer. Now through December 16th, new members can join the chamber for a one time introductory offer of $160. So talk to friends and colleagues and invite them to join us at our October Luncheon at Midland Hills on October 21st. RSVP for the Luncheon Here. Our speaker will be former popular TV anchor, Rick Kupchella. He recently launched a new online news site and will be discussing the future of internet news and social media. The New midwaychamber.com is designed to redesign the way you interact with your chamber. The thought process behind this redesign is Business 360, which you can learn more about at the website. We want www.midwaychamber.com to provide you with the most up to date and relevant information, tools for you to expand your organizations reach and outlets for you to network with fellow chamber members. Backed by a new Content Management System, www.midwaychamber.com is more powerful and easier to update than ever before. With a plethora of social media tools at your disposal, it is our intent that you will use the site to further the networking that you are already doing at Midway Chamber luncheons. New Member Promotion

First thank you for all of your support for the
Midway Chamber of Commerce. It truly is a unique group due in large part to
the volunteerism of members like you and the high rate of participation overall
for our chamber.
No doubt it has been a trying year for all
industries and nonprofits, which is why we have completely redesigned our
webpage in our effort to compound the benefit of being a chamber member. Please
go to www.midwaychamber.com to see how by utilizing social media,
our webpage and attending our events will exponentially multiply your contacts
and allow for you to be more strategic in your networking when you attend our
events, a method we have named "Business 360".
Your board of directors is committed to build up
our membership for 2009-2010! Not only because the Midway business community
needs to stay strong in a tough economy, but also as we approach construction
for the light rail, we need to bring businesses on board now so we can all work
together to support our local businesses when we will be looked to for
leadership. So for the first time, we are offering an introductory new member
flat rate of $160, if the prospect completes their application and pay by
December 16, 2009.
