Welcome to February and the start of the tradeshow season. Whether it be RV shows, Sportsman & Outdoor shows or Home shows, many businesses are busy marketing themselves every weekend. With that in mind I have written this article about tradeshows that hopefully you will find helpful. Giving WOW to Your Tradeshow Booth
 
If you've been to a trade show recently, you know how busy they can be. Crowds of people walk down aisles and aisles of displays. How do you get them to your booth? Studies show that on average a tradeshow display booth has about 3-5 seconds to catch a potential customers attention. That means that not only to you have little time to catch their attention but you only have 3-5 seconds to communicate what you do. Unless your prospects can read minds,
 
They will only know what your business does if they can notice it and understand your message. One way to get a potential customer to stop at your booth is with bold effective graphics. Here are some points to follow if you want to drive traffic to your tradeshow booth.

  • Branding is so important in business so display your logo prominently in your display. If you don't have a logo, get one designed.
  • Make sure you tell them who you are and what your business does by using key words and phrases. Display your website
  • Display your unique selling proposition that sets you apart from your competitors
  • Keep your display simple, don't clutter your display with too much product
  • Details are important. The power of good pictures and signs speak for themselves and they will catch the attention of people passing by. 
  • Think outside the box and consider using unique fonts and colours
  • Consider using portable banner stands. They can be used with digital graphics with powerful marketing statements that will draw prospects to your booth.
 
The key is to be creative when designing and setting up your tradeshow booth. You want your booth to stand out without looking cluttered and boring.
