Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the USU Botanical Center

On September 17 the Utah State University Botanical Center celebrates the 10th Anniversary of its founding and its very bright future. The center's first few years entailed cleaning up land and waterways, building infrastructure, moving soil, and re-engineering the landmark ponds. Though the center is still a work in progress, it is now home to a healthy urban fishery, annually welcomes thousands of school children on memorable field trips, provides educational opportunities for adults, features a beautiful teaching garden and arboretum, provides fresh produce to area food banks, hosts a busy farmers market, and boasts one of the states' few LEED Platinum certified buildings. The USUBC looks forward to many years of being a place of beauty and learning for people in Utah and the West.
In the spirit of our successful 10 years we will be celebrating throughout the day,
