Understanding Plant Tags

 

 

 

  Spring is very near, which means it is time to get to your local garden center to make your plant purchases. As customers flock to garden centers, employees do their best to help everyone, yet it can be hard due to the influx of people. To make it easier for customers, information tags describing growing requirements hang from most plants. However, it can still be difficult to determine what all of the information means. With the arrival of Spring comes, along with it comes Mother's Day, Father's Day and plenty of birthdays.  If you are looking for a new gift idea, we suggest giving an admission to one of our upcoming classes or a membership to the gardens to special people in your life, whether they are avid gardeners or timid beginners.

Fruit Tree Grafting

                         
Tree grafting is the art of combining different living organisms to grow together.  Find out how to perpetuate that perfect fruit tree by attending our hands-on workshop that will reveal the techniques behind grafting. Participants will receive two apple trees to take home.   To learn more about this class, click here.
