Ordering From Seed Catalogs

The new year is upon us and plant catalogs will start arriving in our mail boxes, appealing to our desire to be able to again enjoy our time outdoors in warmer weather. There are many beautiful and useful plants sold in these catalogs that we can enjoy in our yards. I personally enjoy leafing through them and am sometimes amazed at the variety available. Also, a major advantage to ordering from these catalogs is that they are often times a good source of antique/heritage plants and hard to find varieties of vegetables and fruit trees that are sometimes unavailable at local garden centers.  Read More

Wildflower Tour of the Jackson Wyoming Area

August 3-5, 2011


 
Members of the Ogden Botanical Gardens and Utah State University Botanical Center are invited to join us in beautiful Jackson Hole , Wyoming Aug 3-5 for a guided in depth wildflower experience in the Teton Mountains & surrounding areas. Price is $499 per person/dbl occupancy. We will be visiting local landscapes, Gardens, research flower plots, and spend a morning in the cool Tetons looking at some of the most spectacular natural beauty in the United States.
