  Green Cleaning for Your Home

While waiting for the snow to melt off of your garden, you might want to take stock of the inside of your house, sort through those stacks of seed catalogs and get rid of a few things you don't need. While you're at it you might want to spruce things up so when spring does arrive and beckons you to spend every waking moment digging in the dirt, you won't feel a bit bad about deserting the house for a season. Did you know that the average U.S. household spends about $600 a year on 40 pounds of chemical cleaning products? Read more.

Pruning Demonstrations in March

Pruning season is quickly approaching, this gardening task seems to generate fear among majority of home gardeners.  Take the fear out of pruning by learning the art and science of proper pruning practices. Attend one of our fruit pruning classes, focus on apples, peaches, grapes and raspberries. Or join us for our landscape pruning class that will teach you how to prune your roses, ornamental trees and shrubs. These outdoor events are some of our most popular workshops, so dress for the occasion and come ready to learn.
