Mountain Wildflowers
The Friends of the Garden Wildflower Tour is here. On Friday, July 16, the Wildflower Tour heads to Utah Valley to explore the exciting plants of Mount Timpanogos. Mount Timpanogos is the second highest mountain in Utah's Wasatch Range, rising to an elevation of 11,749. Designated as a Wilderness Area in 1984, the mountain offers a variety of wondrous wildflowers, such as, penstemon, Indian paintbrush, columbine, buckwheat, lupine, larkspur, and geranium. Following the tour, we will travel to Thanksgiving Point Gardens for lunch and a guided tour of the Garden.
