February 2010

Gratitude in the Garden is more than the theme of our 2010 events, it is the way we feel every day about our volunteers, donors and guests. In the coming months, free classes and other activities will demonstrate how grateful we are for your support. Come enjoy the pleasures of the gardens and learn to create beautiful, productive places of your own. Click here for a printable schedule of this year's classes and other events.

Backyard Pruning

Probably no other task generates more fear within home gardeners than pruning fruit trees.  For this reason many ignore the problem hoping that it will go away...but it doesn't.  Join us at our spring fruit tree pruning demonstrations, where you will learn three easy steps to proper pruning practices.
