Are we in a "Public Health Emergency"?
Are you susceptive to viruses?

Swine flu?  What to do?  What you choose depends on what you know about viruses & true health. 

The "swine flu" media craze is propagating fear, which spreads faster than ANY virus!  Viruses can spread quickly, just like out of control emotions that sometimes outweigh logical thinking.

Logically, running from all viruses & bugs "out there" is impossible- so the real problem needs our attention.  How can we increase health and the immune system of people throughout the world? 
 
In 1976, Swine Flu surfaced last, more people died from the vaccine than of the flu itself.  Check out Congressman Paul on the Recent Swine Flu Scare on Youtube.com.  
 
Now, the 2009 Swine Flu is more complex - a H1N1-H5N1 avian/human/swine flu virus never seen before.  These viruses are real.  Consider, however, thatwe'll be running from super viruses and bugs and plagues, or...we can build your health AND take  precautions.
Viruses can't survive without an unhealthy host cell.
 
Consider: "Do flies cause garbage or does garbage attract flies?" Flies feed on decaying matter and are an effect of garbage. Likewise,an unhealthy body environment with low resistance attracts viruses and bugs to feed on its toxic, decaying matter.
 
Now more than ever, you can provide the essentials for your body to be healthy!  Get adjusted to keep your nerve communication to the immune system clear!  Next,   eat green vegetables & oranges, get  your body moving, hydrate, get eight hours sleep, be in the sunshine, and have some fun in your life!

Can Sleep affect your Emotions?

Today's environment may be producing sleep deprived and irritable people!  How?  Let's consider the essential elements of sleeping deep:
 
  • A full day of constant moving
A firm bed
  • Cool environment
  • A quiet mind

    Research announced at a meeting of the Associated Professional Sleep Society in Seattle, shows adequate sleep underpins our ability to process our life.  See the top 10 scientific discoveries of 2008, from Sleep & Neuroimaging lab at the University of California, Berkeley.

     
    Further research at Harvard Medical school, published in Current Biology, found that sleep deprived people had decreased activity in the prefrontal lobe (emotional control area). 
    Processing your life is directly linked to getting enough REM sleep- or deep sleep.  This level of sleep helps you release anxiety & emotions!! 
    Dr. Walker explains that many people are still in "sympathetic nervous system" activity even during sleep.  Our office refers to sympathetic nerve activity as a person being in "911" or emergency mode all the time!  No one is sleeping when you think there is an emergency going on!
    Further, many people sit all day long and don't engage in enough motion to cause deep sleep.

      Move more to sleep well to control emotions! 
  • Eat Well
    Health is also what you don't eat!
     
    Ask any group how to be healthy, and you'll get the answer...Eating healthy!  So, what is healthy eating?  Answers to that and the following will help:  

    1.    What you eat
    2.    How you eat & How much you eat
    3.    Your body's digestion system
    4.    What you don't eat
    5.    When you eat
     
    What you eat:  Eating health won't correct years of neglect, abuse and degeneration- and let's be very clear here- nothing else done short term will either!  There is not "health pill!" Begin now to provide your body with essential nutrients to begin the process of self healing to make symptoms unnecessary. 
     
    How you eat & How much you eat: This affects inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and Crohn's disease directly.  Eating fast means you have big molecules instead of small molecules being digested- this can cause allergies, auto-immune problems, bowel pain, constipation and malnutrition.  Overeating, even healthy food, causes poor digestion too! 
     
    How your body's digestion is working: The midback nerves supply brain signals to the stomach, small intestine and liver.  Proper nerve supply to these organs digest proteins, carbohydrates and fats respectively.   A subluxation or nerve interference in the midback means these organs don't function optimally- and can lead to poor digestion and malnutrition.  Adjustments help you with the most common illness today - toxic  bowel! 
     
    What you don't eat: This may be more important than what you do eat- as there are so many toxins and harmful chemicals in much of our modern day packages and fast food. 
     
    When you eat: During daylight!
     
    The good news is, we can take control of our eating. Here are a few more tips to eating right: 

    ·         learn how to combine food properly
    ·         eat fresher - gratitude
    ·         Eat temperately- stuffing yourself leads to problems!
