Well, it's our last wine tasting for 2010 and we are going out with a SPARK! We will be tasting three delicious bubbly's that are perfect for your New Year's toast!
Botter Verduzzo Prosecco
This wine is new to our portfolio. It has a pale straw yellow color with a fine effervescence. Delicately fruity, it has an aromatic bouquet of honey and wild apple with hints of flowers. It is light-bodied, and well balanced. Excellent as an aperitif, it pairs perfectly with hors d'oeuvres and delicate first-courses. It is also wonderful with fish and shellfish. Perfect for your New Year's Eve celebration- Oh yeah!

Fantinel Prosecco Rosè Sparkling Brut
Fantinel Rosè Brut is an elegant Pinot Noir and Chardonnay cuvee. This sparkler exhibits a unique, creamy consistency, beautiful blush coloring and intense aromas of ripe fruit. A fine bead reveals flavors of lush red fruit, citrus, and toasted nut - a superior example of sparkling wines from Northern Italy.
Bottle: $19.99 - Case: $239.88
Agrapart & Fils Brut Champagne Blanc de Blancs Les 7 Crus
"Year's Best Champagne," December 2008 Wine and Spirits: This Brut blends estate-grown chardonnay from all seven villages of the Cote des Blancs into a chalky Champagne. Flavors of lemon flan and the oyster shell scent of limestone come between the bubbles, as does a refreshing edge of white grapefruit pith. It lasts in a balance of zesty and creamy notes, delicious on its own or with a range of raw shellfish." As most of you know, I find this sparkler to be lip-smackin de-lich!
Bottle: $44.99 - Case: $539.88
