See how hard I work for you!
2009 Mas de Libian Khayyam, Cotes du Rhone, $24.99 a bottle/$254.90 a case.
Crafted from ancient vines of Grenache, Mourvedre and Syrah, it has the depth and concentration of a wine twice its price. The '09 is a marvel, powerfully built, wildly complex yet with a level of finesse generally found only in Châteauneuf. Drink in a large glass, believe me, oxygen is this wine's friend. Resist the temptation to drink quickly; it will be hard--the fruit is so darn drinkable, it is hard to not consume quickly.
