Gorgeous perfume of grass, lime leaf and cold stones, with weight on the palate and waxy texture, which suggest a major component of Semillon. This wine has plenty of verve, great cut and crispness from the Sauvignon Blanc in the blend. Great balance and presence, drinking beautifully now, highly recommended.

Il Brecciarolo [Eel breTCH ee R o low] refers to the broken stones typical of the soils in this area. The heartiness of the Montepulciano dominates while the Sangiovese lifts the aromatics and brightens the wine. It has a lovely soft palate, with tannins that give the wine structure, but are so soft and refined they almost feel creamy, while great acidity follows through the finish.

RAFEAL PALACIOS LOURO
GODELLO BLANCO 2008

Made from 100% Godello harvested from both of Rafael's estate vineyards, as well as some purchased fruit from neighboring growers. The grapes were grown on 12-32 year old vines in sandy soils that were created as the granite sub-stratum degraded over centuries. The wine was aged for 8 months
in foudre. This wine is gorgeous and is perfect for the new Spring season!
