B.R. Cohn Sonoma Chardonnay 2008, $22.99 a bottle, $234.48 for a case, or $19.54 a bottle as part of a mixed case
We
continue to be wowed by this Chardonnay from our friends at B.R. Cohn. Pear, apple and citrus aromas, hint at what the first sip
will bring. Rich flavors of green apple with a hint of lemon,
surrounded by toasty French oak, are wrapped in rich body. The wine
has an exceptional depth of flavors, all followed by a clean, crisp,
lingering finish. Come in and taste why we think this is delicious!

Chateau Bois-Martin Pessac-Leognan 2006, $19.99 a bottle, $203.88 for a case, or $16.99 a bottle as part of a mixed case
Chateau Bois-Martin is in a superb location quite close to the village of Léognan on the left bank of Bordeaux. This small vineyard is nestled amongst first-rate vineyards. The estate has belonged to the Perrin family since 1998 and they have really focused the direction on producing quality Bordeaux at a value price. Their 2006 Pessac-Leognan is medium-bodied and has the signature blackcurrant flavor with a gravelly undertone that is indicative of delicious Bordeaux. This is a great wine, perfect for entertaining and enjoying all winter long.

We are really excited about tasting this wine Friday evening. It is fantastic! If you are looking for a special bottle as a gift or, to enjoy yourself over the holidays, you have to try this wine. Robert Parker awarded the wine 94 points and wrote, "The classic, deep ruby/purple-tinged 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa offers aromas of tobacco leaf, cedar, black currants, tar, licorice, and espresso. Full-bodied, powerful, and opulent, it can be drunk now or cellared for 15 or more years."
