Anima Negra AN2 2006

From the island of Majorca, made from grapes native to the Mediterranean, Anima Negra produced another delicious AN2 blend. Dark ruby in color, the ÀN/2 has complex aromas of spices and wild raspberries. On the palate the wine is silky and elegant and has intense flavors of mature fruit. Well-balanced with a long finish, this wine pairs deliciously with grilled meats and casseroles.
B.R. Cohn SyrCab 2007
$36.99 a bottle, $377.28 for a case, or $31.44 a bottle as part of a mixed case
The 2007 B.R. Cohn SyrCap is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon from the B.R. Cohn Olive Hill Estate Vineyard and Syrah grapes grown in specially selected Sonoma Valley vineyards. This wine is as unique as its trademark name. The combination of these two varietals produces a wine with exotic briar, plum and black cherry fruit, surrounded by mocha, caramel, smoke and a hint of mint and earth. Aging for 18 months in premium French oak barrels produces a wine of complexity and balance with silky tannins and a smooth, long finish.
